SKAT Transport is refreshing its brand by introducing a new logo and visual identification. This image modernisation symbolise the positive changes that have occurred in the company in recent years. In addition, it also constitutes one of elements of the SKAT Group development strategy.

In recent years, the entire SKAT Group, with the SKAT Transport brand as its leader, has been developing dynamically. Currently, the company is not just a renowned road carrier, it has also become a transport and logistics provider able to offer large-scale TSL services. Some of the results of the intense development process can be seen in the modern building to which the SKAT Transport office will relocate soon, the continuous investments in the fleet of vehicles, development of IT systems, investments in HR, development of branches and more. The refreshed visual identification, in turn, will emphasise the changes occurring in the company.

“Over the past 20 years or so, SKAT Transport has grown from being a small transport company to one of the most significant players in the European TSL market. As the SKAT brand is well recognisable in Poland and abroad the new graphic identification refers closely to the previous one, which has been in use since 2002.The new image echoes the professionalism of the services that we provide, the dynamic development of the company and following of the customers’ needs, as well as being consistent with current graphic trends. The new logotype will appear not only on printed materials, but first of all on our main ‘flagships’, i.e. on the newly-constructed office building and our fleet of vehicles.” said Waldemar Łazarczyk, President of the Management Board.

A unique font from the DIN family has been used for the new logotype. It is distinguished by high legibility on roads, even at high speeds, and far from being a graphic element. An arrow that previously constituted a dynamic logo element has evolved and, together with an additional symbol, has taken the shape of a cube, producing a 3D effect. This cube constitutes a universal symbol for cargo, while the elements describing it demonstrate the character of transport services: “from and to”. The orange colour, specific for the fleet and distinguishing SKAT Transport vehicles all over Europe, has been maintained. The steel grey for the name emphasises modernity, maturity and elegance. The logotype has two versions – a horizontal pattern presenting an orange symbol on the left side of the company name and a vertical pattern with a symbol centrally over the name.

The new logo will gradually replace the previous one in the company’s promotional materials, on websites and vehicle fleet. All domestic branches will have new signage, while the modern office building in Airport City (Gdańsk district) will soon display the refreshed logo on the southern and eastern elevations. It is worth adding that the latest ten trucks are already presenting the changed branding on European roads.
