We have just taken another important step in implementing this strategy – our fleet has been boosted by 20 brand new Scania 460R tractor units. 

The choice of the Scania 460R model was not random. This vehicle provides us with a real competitive advantage. Thanks to advanced drivetrains, the new tractors offer excellent fuel consumption parameters. On a fleet scale numbering in the dozens of vehicles, this translates into significant cost optimization and a substantial reduction in carbon footprint. This is our contribution to greener transport. 

However, a modern fleet is not just tables in Excel. It is primarily about people. We know perfectly well that for a driver, the truck cabin is not just a driver’s seat, but a space for work and rest. The new Scanias stand out for their soundproofing and ergonomics, which prioritise driver comfort. We invest in this model because we care about the SKAT team working with top-class equipment. A rested driver and reliable equipment are the guarantee that the cargo will reach its destination safely and on time. 

The process of introducing new vehicles is the result of close cooperation with the Scania Gdańsk branch. It was not an ordinary purchase, but a partnership dialogue in which the configuration of the vehicles was “tailored” to the specifics of our international routes.
